What is SharkScribe?
SharkScribe is an AI tool that writes marketplace-ready product titles and descriptions from your product photos. You upload one or more photos, optionally add notes (size, condition, flaws), choose a tone and length, and get a title and description to paste into your listing. It runs in the browser at app.sharkscribeai.com.
Who is SharkScribe for?
SharkScribe is for resellers, people clearing out their wardrobe, and small shops that list items on marketplaces such as Vinted, eBay, Allegro, OLX, Etsy, Amazon and Facebook Marketplace and want to spend less time writing listings.
Does SharkScribe publish listings for me?
No. SharkScribe writes the copy and you publish the listing yourself. On Vinted, the Premium browser extension (Chrome) can fill in the listing form with your title, description and images, and you review and submit it.

How much does SharkScribe cost?
SharkScribe has three plans, priced in USD:
- Free, $0: 5 generations per month, 1 image per generation, descriptions may include a watermark. No credit card required.
- Standard, $1.99/month: 30 generations per month, 3 images per generation, no watermark.
- Premium, $4.99/month: unlimited generations and images, no watermark, live quality hints, custom styles, the Vinted browser extension and premium-tier AI models.
Paid plans can be cancelled anytime. The exact price and billing are shown in the app.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 5 generations per month with 1 image per generation and needs no credit card. You can start free and upgrade only if you need more.
What is a "generation"?
A generation is one run that turns your photos and notes into a title and description. The image limit is per generation: 1 image on Free, 3 on Standard, unlimited on Premium.
Features
What are live quality hints?
Live quality hints are a Premium feature. While you type your notes, they flag what a buyer would miss: vague notes, missing size or condition, risky claims, or a mismatch between the text and the photos. One click ("Add with AI") fills the gap. The feature is experimental, can be dismissed, and can be turned off in Settings. Free and Standard users see a locked preview.
What does the browser extension do?
The SharkScribe Chrome extension, a Premium feature that's free to install, fills in Vinted's "Sell an item" form with a saved SharkScribe draft: title, description and images. It works on all Vinted domains (for example vinted.com, vinted.fr, vinted.pl) in Chrome on desktop, not in the Vinted mobile app. Support for other marketplaces is listed as coming soon.
What are custom styles?
Custom styles (Premium) let you save your tone and example listings and reuse them in one click, so every description sounds like your shop.
Marketplaces and languages
Which marketplaces does SharkScribe support?
SharkScribe works with any marketplace where you paste a title and description. It has tailored guidance for Vinted, eBay, Amazon, Allegro, Facebook Marketplace and Etsy, plus a general mode for others. You can also use it for OLX, Poshmark, Craigslist, Temu, AliExpress, car listings (for example Otomoto, mobile.de, AutoScout24) and property listings (Airbnb, Booking, real estate).
Which languages does SharkScribe support?
The SharkScribe app is available in 15 languages: English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Slovak and Belarusian. You can generate descriptions in the language of the marketplace you sell on.
Privacy and ownership
What data does SharkScribe collect?
According to the SharkScribe Privacy Policy, SharkScribe collects account information (such as your email if you sign in), the inputs you submit (text and images), basic usage and diagnostic data, and cookies and analytics data.
How are my photos and text used?
Your inputs are used to generate and refine your content, run the service, improve reliability and safety, and prevent abuse. SharkScribe shares information with service providers that help run it, such as hosting, analytics and AI-processing providers, or when required by law. Full details: sharkscribeai.com/privacy.
Who owns the descriptions I generate?
Under the SharkScribe Terms, you keep your rights in your inputs and may use the outputs you generate, subject to applicable law and the rights of others in your inputs.

Do I need to check the output?
Yes. AI-generated descriptions can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review every listing against the item and the marketplace's rules before you publish.
